Christianity: the Worlds Greatest Gift!

Christianity has been a huge benefit to every person who has embraced it, and thereby to the whole world. Christianity is different than every other religion in that the Christian's ultimate destination is not based on their merit. No, not at all. Their destination, a joyous eternity with God himself, is based on the merit of God's Son, one Jesus Christ. He proclaimed He entered the world for but one purpose, to live a sinless life and die as a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. This He did and rose from the dead on the third day following, proving that His sacrifice was accepted by God. Ever since millions of people have lived and died by His teachings of salvation by faith and have striven to live by His teachings of brotherly love and sharing this good news. The New Testament of the Christian Bible contains the book of John chapter 3, verses 16 and 17 which reads, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." (King James Version published 1611)
